Adding Essential Oils

 In an effort to replace the chemicals that are often used in our bodies and our homes, I have been using essential oils for nearly a year. As with many things, I still have so much to learn.  What I do know, though, is that essential oils have been  helpful for both my physical and emotional health. 

 I even use them to clean my house!

My Favorite Oils and Uses

  • Lemon: added to my daily water bottles
  • Serenity: diffused into the air
  • Lavender: diffused in air for restful sleep & put right on itchy skin
  • On Guard: taken internally for immunity, used in DIY all purpose cleaner
  • Breathe: for when the stuffy noses take hold
  • Cedarwood, Lemongrass & Peppermint: for DIY bug spray
  • Peppermint: to cool hot feet 
  • So much more!!
